The group recorded revenue of 12.2 billion euros in the third quarter of 2026, nine percent more than a year earlier. Adjusted operating profit rose six percent to 1.4 billion euros, even though fuel costs increased by 543 million euros.

Lufthansa Cargo tripled its operating profit to 162 million euros, and Lufthansa Technik grew its result by 54 percent to 200 million euros. The network airlines, by contrast, saw profit fall by 108 million euros to 853 million euros. Swiss, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines improved their quarterly results, while Lufthansa Airlines was additionally hit by strike costs.

For the full year, the group expects an adjusted operating profit between 1.7 and 2 billion euros. The figures show that the cargo and maintenance units carried the quarter, while profit at the network airlines fell, with Lufthansa Airlines also burdened by strike costs.

Lufthansa Cargo și-a triplat profitul operațional, ajungând la 162 de milioane de euro, iar Lufthansa Technik a avut o creștere de 54 de procente, până la 200 de milioane de euro.
